Quick running note: A UT grad in the world championships

In a former life, I was a runner. High school, yeah, so it was a ways back. These days I just plod and sweat. Doctors say it extends your life, but I feel like I’m dying most of the time.

Vestiges of my runner past pop up at times, so here’s to sharing some cool stuff …

Sarah Brown, a UT All American track-lete will be running the semifinal race of the 1500 in the track and field world championships in Moscow – in about 30 minutes. Check it out here.

… if you have some time on your lunch break. And here’s a video on how she got there at the last minute.

The 1500 takes just a shade over 4 minutes. You have the time to watch. So do that.
