Here’s the inaugural edition of “Where am I?” – a weekly contest* to see how well you know the places in Knoxville that are out-of-the-way or right under your nose.
ANSWER BELOW, past the jump.
Extra points** for people who give the most accurate information possible – address, name of location and place from where the shot was taken, if possible.
Post guesses in the comment section below. We’ll post the answer and the winner’s name here later today.
This week’s hint: It’s a bike pump.
*This is a contest in which the winner gets a sense of pride in a job well done.
**Extra points give you an extra sense of satisfaction over the others who only give shortened answers.
Thanks for all the submissions, people.
The location of this bright bike pump is at TVB, Tennessee Valley Bikes at 214 West Magnolia Ave., next door to The Public House. Well done, Jennifer and Alan.
I haven’t used this pump just yet, but there is another one very much like this at Three Rivers Market. And if you all have other locations for bike public pumps around town, please share those in comments.
Happy Thursday, everyone. Come back next week for another round.
